STRI Excel: Colgante zoomorfo (lagartos bicefálos) - no identificado CL-1-95. Catálogo de INAC: . Per RGC (25jul07): Found in fragments, then stuck together (RGC not sure if joined into one piece) and subsequently unstuck. Joined by Jacinto in old museum. Found with another conjoined animal (complete), stolen from shelves of the old museum. Found in humid tomb with phytoliths suggesting barkcloth. Miracae family (one of this genera ficus is used to make barkcloth) - bundle material? Dated (by ceramic typology) 850-1100 AD. Bones in really bad shape - maybe cremated? heating? or from treatment?

Not much gilding - bits are present. Incomplete and broken, now in 4 pieces. smallest and largest pieces were created from smaller pieces. Incomplete. Extant pieces are deformed, and can't be rejoined. Crushed from top down - splayed out - maybe from formation. Alot of red cuprite on surface, as well as black dendrite covered oxide layer. In one ofheads, bits of green glassy corrosion. one fragment readhered now loose.

Rebagged in polyethylene ziplock bag with Tyvek tag insert. The object was stabilized inside the bag in a purpose-built ethafoam cavity-mount.

Note: Cast. Hollow backed cast, no evidence of gilding. Originally 2 pairs of attachment loops, joined by rod on verso just behind heads. Only head area survives. Each loop is 3 wires thick.
