Note: Object Description
12/12/2008. Open back cast frog pendant (the second largest of the three), with 3-wire double tongue terminating in double spirals. The legs are thin cast wire doubled back projections from the body and the feet are thin and flat. The eyes are ball in ring and the lip is thin cast wire. There are two double wire filets attaching the tongue to the head. The two front legs are suspension loops (0.035" - 0.038").

Cast- Open Back Note: The interior/reverse has typical porosity and pitting from casting. There are casting blips and flaws and at the end of the PL tongue and spirals, there is a conical feature that may be remnants of a sprue. The edges of the feet are irregular but there are no hammer marks

Note: The interior is more coppery colored, indicating that there was some enrichment to obtain the gold colored obverse. The raised surfaces are highly polished
