Resin (copal?) monkey figurine with gold sheathing on the tail, two front legs and two back legs (PL back leg missing). The tail curls in an S curl. There is a small punched hole on the outside of each front leg. There is also a thin projection of resin from the rear of the monkey, just below the tail.

The PL back leg is missing. A surface layer of resin is chipping off of the head. There is brown soiling and accretions in the crevices between the legs and body. There appears to be a coating over the gold surface. There is some cracking and dents in the sheathing

Special Sample taken. There are loose samples of the copal present in a small metal sample case. Should use for FTIR and GC-MS
