Note: Condition Review
Fragmentary. The frog is in two pieces which include a large body portion and the PR foot. Missing small section of body, PR triangular leg, and PL foot. Still mostly covered in corrosion but there is evidence of mechanical cleaning in the form of scratches and abraded gold surface. Restored in the past as there is a thick application of adhesive along the two large breaks in the body and PL suspension loop. The adhesive appears to have yellowed in areas
Note: Follow-up Notes
Definitely small enough to fit in ESEM-EDS and there are abundant cross sections visible. Cross section at PR foot especially good as you can see transition from gold to interior.. and there is a dendritic structure to the corrosion.
Note: Analysis Recommendations
