Note: Object Description
Resin/Copal animal figurine with gold sheathing on the tail, four legs, and mouth. The tail is curled up and is reminiscent of the curly tailed animal figurines. The legs go straight down and have five fingered flat paws. The sheathing on the mouth goes over the lips and has square to pointy teeth embossed in. Most of the mouth is open. There is a small punched hole on the outside of both front feet.

Note: Research Notes
(transferred to MCI for analysis July 2009)
Note: Condition Review
The resin is degraded around the head but otherwise in good condition. The gold sheathing is dented and torn in a couple areas and there are brown accretions on some of the surface. There is evidence of adhesive from past repair and a clear coating.
Note: Follow-up Notes
Special. No loose pieces of resin but analysis would be interesting.
