Note: Object Description
Small open back cast double frog pendant with a cast hole on the obverse of each body likely for an inset of some material. The frogs each have an outer foot and share the inner foot. The feet are flat, relatively thin (0.075-0.095" thick), and have a line pattern depressed into the surface. Each frog has coffee bean eyes, suspension loops for hands, and around the mouth of each frog is a cast wire with multiple triangle motif. There are several small flat squares of metal cast onto the reverse of the pendant, one at each mouth, and also on each of the feet. 12.7g

Has been coated with a clear resin at some point. There is green corrosion on the surface and brown-black accretions on the interior and on the surface.

Technique: Fabrication Method
Note: Lots of casting flaws (holes), odd additional bits of metal on the reverse (feet and mouths), no evidence of hammering on feet. Possibly some investment remaining on interior of reverse. The surface has pitting and porosity associated with casting.
