Effigy bell pendant in the shape of a frog (?) with four snake decorations, two protruding form back and two held between the mouth and front legs. The snakes in the front have spiral cast wire bodies. The back is hemispherical with a double wire circle around it. The legs extend out in an S shape and have small U shaped hands with three lines incised in the wax model, representing the digits. There is a suspension loop on the back and the slit is at the bottom of the back, towards the feet. The clapper is inside and still works.

In excellent condition except for the top of the suspension loop that appears black and red as the gold surface has worn away. Lots of small scratches on the surface. Buildup of wax on hollow interior of bell and under suspension loop, indicating past conservation and application of coating
