Found in grave of child. Gorgets were found over hips of child. Made from leg or wing bones of gulls, other from orange and white shell beads, originally strung on human hair. Three gold plaques found on the child's chest (originally sewn on clothing).. one undecorated, other with embossed circle, and the third in "cocle" style with embossed hybrid creature (this plaque now at Dumbarton Oaks) (From Lothrop 1956)

Note: Condition Review
Good condition except for the loose beads, 8 of which have lost their shell substrate. There are some cracks along the edges but overall they are in good condition. There is a small amount of light brown accretion along the inside of the beads that have lost their shell substrate.
