Note: Object Description
Gold sheathing of a mouth on a resin head. The mouth is open and has lips and square teeth embossed from the exterior. The resin core has the same general shape but it is unclear whether it was directly underneath the gold or whether there was a layer in between.

The resin substrate is broken (dropped in move from NY) and the sheathing has come off of the resin core. There is a small amount of the resin core attached to the interior of the sheather with what looks like Paraloid or another clear resin

Special. Would be interesting to find out whether it was burnished directly onto core or if there was a separating material... inside the sheathing there appears to be a thin layer of clay/dirt? -Take pics
