Note: Object Description
STRI Excel: Colgante - zoomorfo pariado, estile inicial Catálogo de INAC: 2348 Numero de laboratorio: PV-54-2001 Weight: 4.3 g Dimensions: length 19mm, width 17.75mm, deth 9.25mm Quadripedal, crested (between eyes or brow?) dog-like animal with round ears and tripartite snout, and short tail. (Not saurian, or bird-like) On each head: distinct rounded ears. middle of head has protrusion coming out of brow - present (broken) on PR dog, sheared at face on PL dog. Tail: blob next to tail looks coiled, tail curves toward back. Joined at back feet, and by a rod from outer front feet through the inner front feet, at inside. Outer feet encase the hanging loops. Hanging loops stick out to the side a bit from outer front legs. Opening orientation: cord would pass laterally across the bodies. Open cavity on under side, the only thing that crosses is the rod. No joining at the back. Rod is typical for joining multiple figures in Panama and Costa Rica. Connecting rod may be extra thin from cleaning.

Rounded depression on top of foot where the 2 animals' join - not clear. Dendritic structure visible in exposed substrate. Some gold lifting on inner surface of PL back leg. Jabbed area on inner cavity PL animal revealing much pinker metal.
Note: Housing Notes
