Note: No overt tool marks, but there are strong wear patterns on the back of the piece which are consistant with 2 metal surfaces that have rubbed together. A burr has been created as a result of the repeated wear; however, most of the surfaces are flat and close to the same planes.

Technique: Fabrication Method
cast Note: Cast figure with hollow, open back; head/torso is u-shaped in cross-section. Head and torso are made from sheet wax. The feet, arms, hands and facial features are made from round-wire wax. All fabrication took place in wax. Wax wires are approx. 1 mm in diameter. In the proper left arm at the elbow there is a hole.
Treatment: Conservation Performed
Note: Surface cleaned/degreased with acetone on cotton swab. Re-cleaned on 1-Aug-2007.
