Note: Object Description
Large open back cast pendant of a jaguar head on human body with four monkeys surrounding it and a thin flat band framing it above and below. There are twisted cast wire snakes in the mouth and on the waist of the jaguar figure. There are decorative spirals and cast braided wire running along either side. There is a single suspension loop in the center of the back of the jaguar figure.

Bad condition. Pendant is fragmentary with many losses, extensive cracking and a fragment maintained separately in a polyethylene bag. The pendant has been previously restored with adhesive and with two cerex bandages along the breaks in the knees. There is some loss of the gold surface layer.

Too corroded to analyze interior. Fragment present- could be placed in ESEM chamber.. but there is adhesive on it and it is heavily corroded
