Delamination btn gold layer and substrate metal, mostly along outermost edges, exterior high points, with losses concentrated around features; none in head interiors. Substrate metal, where exposed: corroded black granular, some green products. Fine sand present on all surfaces, which includes some black granular material in addition to overall carbon-rich material (?).

cast Note: Cast, lost wax, no visible sprue (guess: probably at head). Thickness at 1.9-0.9 body. Details present in wax included: eyes, nose, mouth decorated with wax wires; rectangular perforations cut from front to back, with burrs on back softened with heat; partial wax wire loop attached on underside of one foot

Treatment: Conservation Performed

Note: Surface cleaned/degreased with ethanol on cotton swab, avoiding resin patch with acc.#
